PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve 1 suppressing a diametrical dimension of a stator 43, improving assembling performance with respect to a connector head 46 and the stator 43, and preventing corotation of the connector head 46 at the time of tightening of a retaining nut 10. SOLUTION: The stator 43 is held by a valve body 45 such that the stator 43 and the valve body 45 are superposed with each other. This structure suppresses the diametrical dimension and reduces the size. By making an inner collar part 10a abut on a flange part 46a and tightening the retaining nut 10, the connector head 46 and the stator 43 are promptly assembled into the valve body 45. By a rotation preventing means such as a pin P provided between the connector head 46 and the stator 43, corotation of the connector head 46 is prevented at the time of tightening of the retaining nut 10. As a result, this eliminates the necessity of a conventional cylindrical casing, and reduces the number of component items and assembling processes, which contributes to improvement of productivity.
