PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter capable of preventing the malfunction by rebounding a rolling body in a fall prevention device of the shutter. SOLUTION: The shutter is equipped with a driving section 9 of a take-up shaft 4 winding up and down a shutter curtain 3, a guide rail 10 of the shutter curtain 3 and the fall prevention device 11 of the shutter curtain 3, the fall prevention device 11 includes a rotary disc 24 connected to the take-up shaft 4 and a fixed body 25 receiving the rotary disc 24, each of a plurality of holding grooves 31 receiving the rolling body 30 is provided on the outer circumference of the rotary disc 24, the rolling body 30 flying out from each holding groove 31 to an upper side part of the inner circumference of the fixed body 25 by centrifugal force of high speed rotation in the case of the fall thereof is fitted only by an approximately a half of the outside diameter of the rolling body 30 to provide a fitting groove 32 stopping the rotation of the rotary disc 24, an operating section 35 of a driving section stop switch 34 operated by the rolling body 30 is provided to the fitting groove 32, and a shock absorbing means 36 absorbing an impact for the rolling body 30 to clash against a wall of the fitting groove 32 is provided to the operating section 35.
