PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing simply and inexpensively the potassium carbonate granules with a desired particle diameter and to provide the antifreezing potassium carbonate granules suitable for spreading on the roads. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises using a rotary kiln R in which the cylinders 2A, 2B and 2C placed inclined to the horizontal plane rotate, feeding a potassium hydrogencarbonate powder in a hydrous state into the insides of rotating cylinders 2A, 2B and 2C from the upper end side of rotary cylinders 2A, 2B and 2C, simultaneously blowing a warm wind into the insides of cylinders 2A, 2B and 2C from the lower end side than the feeding position of potassium hydrogen carbonate, accordingly heating by the above warm wind the above potassium hydrogen carbonate powder moving toward the lower end side in the cylinders 2A, 2B and 2C while converting potassium hydrogencarbonate into potassium carbonate, consequently granulating granules with a desired particle diameter and of potassium carbonate by means of the rotation of cylinders 2A, 2B and 2C.
