PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of reducing the number of components and reducing the cost by providing a sheet holding member having the function of enhancing the stacking property, the function as a detection member, and the function of removing electricity. SOLUTION: In the image forming device, a holding member 35 is integrally formed of a conductive synthetic resin. The holding member 35 has three functions, i.e., the function of enhancing the stacking property by guiding paper sheets 3 onto a discharge tray 29, the function as a detection member to detect the stacking amount of the paper sheets 3, and the function of removing electricity of the paper sheets 3.
