PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coater having a simple structure and capable of preventing troubles caused by droplets and the like of spraying fluid and effectively coating the spraying fluid on a web when adopting a fluid spraying system to coat a chemical solution or the like on the web for remodeling. SOLUTION: The coater comprises suction holes 7a, 7b for sucking excess droplets in connection with spraying, thereby enabling to prevent troubles such as coating defects and paper shortage caused by which drip or liquid mass of excess droplets of the fluid sprayed falls and adheres on the web 2 or rolls 1a, 1b.
