PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a bowl for Chinese noodle or the like, wherein since the bowl is held by hand with fingers hooked on the bottom and peripheral edge thereof, it is very unsanitary when user's mouth touches the peripheral edge to eat it, and a child having smaller hands cannot hold the bowl. SOLUTION: The side of this bowl 1 is provided with a plurality of fence-like or doughnut-shaped recesses 2 for fingers. These recesses are formed symmetrically, whereby although it is hard for the child to hold the hot bowl in his one hand, the fingers are held in the recesses 2 so that the bowl can be stably carried by both hands.
