PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive groundwater level regulator facilitating installation thereof without giving hindrance to driving a farming vehicle and enabling expectation of increase in yield. SOLUTION: This groundwater level regulator includes: a connecting tube 3 which has a first connecting tube 31 connected with an underdrain pipe 91, a second connecting tube 32 opening in the other end of a transverse tube 21 and a third connecting tube 33 lifting inside a vertical tube 22, and is formed in an inverted T shape in which the opened upper end of the third connecting tube 33 terminates in the middle of the vertical tube 22; a water level regulating pipe 4 composed of a vertically movable bellows 41 attached to the upper end of the third connecting tube 33; and an operation device 5 which vertically moves the inside water level regulating pipe 4 from the upper end of the vertical tube 22 and regulates the position of the upper end of the water level regulating pipe 4 to a set water level of a rice field P. Furthermore, the regulator is provided with a sluice device 6 which operates a water stop valve 63 capable of being fitted into a mount part formed in the second connecting tube 32 by an operating rod 64 held in the vertical tube 22 so as to stop water from the connecting tube 3.
