<p>An automotive hood is retained by a first locking mechanism that releases the hood to an initial position at which it remains trapped, and a second release mechanism allowing the hood to open. The first locking mechanism has two traps located at a distance either side of the hood centerline. The second locking release mechanism is located in the hood centerline. The second release mechanism is linked by cables to the first two locking stations.</p> |
