The device has a housing, a wet cleaning device (5), a drying device (6), and a motor drivable disk fastening unit (4) for rotary supporting of information- and/or data carrier with free surfaces on both sides. Two opposite cleaning arms (7) are horizontally arranged and are brought into a parallel position. The arms encompass the carrier on both sides for simultaneous cleaning and/or drying of upper and lower sides of the carrier.
