BEARING UNIT FOR WHEEL SUPPORTING AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing unit capable of restraining rotating deflection of a mounting surface 24 of a hub main body 6a causing generation of juddering in braking.

SOLUTION: Correcting work is applied on a circular ring type supporting surface 45 which is an end surface of a hub supporting member 44 after the hub supporting member 44 is mounted on an end part of a spindle 1. Consequently, squareness of this supporting surface 45 against a rotating central axis α of the spindle 1 is improved. Grinding finishing work is applied on a cylindrical surface part 9 (part to externally fit inner ring) of a hub main body 6a while rotating the hub main body 6a with the spindle 1. Consequently, it is possible to solve the captioned subject as the squareness of the mounting surface 24 against a geometrical central axis of this cylindrical surface part 9 is improved.
