<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method for confirming the normality of an optical path via an optical cross-connector with a small-scale configuration with low power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The cross-connecting apparatus is provided with an optical matrix switch having input ports and output ports to cross-connect each input port and each output port with an optional relation, and an optical path inspection means connected to the output port as an output port for an inspection to use an optical signal received from the output port for the inspection and performs the inspection of an optical path via the optical matrix switch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
