PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact refrigerating device of high cooling efficiency. SOLUTION: This refrigerator 1 has a refrigerating compartment 3, a Peltier cooling unit 30, a cold air supply opening 21 for supplying the air A cooled by the cooling unit 30 to an opening 16 of the refrigerating compartment 3 to form an air curtain, and a supply opening 22 for discharging air, supplying sidestream B using at least a part of the discharged air of the cooling unit 30 along an outer side of the air curtain. As the expansion of the cold air A to the outer side can be inhibited by the sidestream B, the air curtain of high outside air blocking performance can be formed, and the cooling efficiency of the refrigerating compartment 3 can be improved.
