PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating device for a cooling water pump improved in the lubrication state of a bearing by supplying a sufficient amount of oil to a bearing supporting a pump shaft, and preventing the occurrence of abrasion or seizing of the bearing. SOLUTION: The lubricating device for a cooling water pump is installed to the end of an engine body and rotary-driven by a crankshaft through a gear train. In the cooling water pump, an oil reservoir which faces a bearing supporting the pump shaft and store the oil (lubricating oil) supplied to the bearing is formed in a pump case, an oil guide hole is formed in the pump case to communicate with the oil reservoir, and an oil jet is branched from an oil passage of the engine to jet the oil toward the oil guide hole.
