PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcasting receiver in which receiving channels can be changed at timing that meets a user's desire more when a receiving state of a broadcast program being provided to the user deteriorates or when a channel broadcasting the same broadcast program is changed. SOLUTION: The broadcasting receiver 10 is provided with a key inputting part 13 for inputting the user's instruction information on broadcast reception, such as channel setting by the user and information on the selection of a broadcasting station and a program, a switching-over history information holding part 20 for storing switching-over information being information, such as a position and time when channels are switched over and channels before and after channels switching-over, and a switching-over condition retrieving part 21 for retrieving the switching-over history information holding part 20, judging whether there is switching-over information corresponding to the user's instruction information input by the key inputting part 13 and position information and time information at the time when the user's instruction information is input by the key inputting part 13, and extracting corresponding switching-over information to generate switching-over condition information when there is the switching-over information, or the like.
