PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design of a transfixing pressure member which gives desired image quality, roll life and acceptable costs. SOLUTION: An offset printer which transfers a phase-change ink onto a printing medium comprises (a) a phase-change ink element for applying the phase-change ink to a phase-change ink image, (b) an image forming member which receives the phase-change ink image from the phase-change ink element and transfers the phase-change ink image to the printing medium from the image forming member, and (c) the transfixing pressure member set while being coupled with the image forming member. The printing medium passes a nip formed between the image forming member and the transfixing pressure member. The image forming member applies a pressure to the transfixing pressure member, thereby transfers the phase-change ink image to the printing medium from the image forming member, and also fixes the image.
