PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system to grasp accurately the worn and degraded condition of a tire through the utilization of RFID tags and a system to read them. SOLUTION: A plurality of RFID tags (μ-chip) storing position information are installed in the surface layer of the tire used when a vehicle runs in its positions differing in the longitudinal, transverse, and depth directions, and by aμ-chip reading device, the position information of theμ-chips installed in the tire rubber part and the tire information recorded in theμ-chips are read and transmitted to aμ-chip information management server. On the basis of these pieces of information, a discrimination server diagnoses accurately the worn condition of the tire on the basis of the safety reference differing from type to type of tires, and notifies the result to a person in management of the vehicle and car-mounted device etc. so that the person in management or the user can know the accurate condition of the tire.
