PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press molding method which enables a reduction in the restriction of an uneven shape to demold a molded product without damaging its surface when the surface of the molded product having an outside corner surface is formed into the uneven shape and not causing burr on the surface of the molded product. SOLUTION: In this press molding method for obtaining the molded product 3 having the outside corner surface 4 having an uneven shape formed to it by press-molding a molding material 1 by a mold 2, the mold 2 is constituted of a corner mold 5 for molding the corner part 4a of the outside corner surface 4 and two planar molds 6 and 6 for molding the planar parts 4b on both sides of the corner part 4a. The mold 2 is pressed to the molding material 1 in a state that the corner mold 5 and the respective planar molds 6 and 6 are integrated with each other to press the molding material 1, and the corner mold 5 and the respective planar molds 6 and 6 are separated to demold the molded product. The concentration of the pressing force to the molding material 1 from the corner mold 5 and the planar molds 6 and 6 is prevented to suppress the penetration of the molding material into the gap between abutted parts and the demolding direction of the planar molds 6 and 6 is not restricted only to the outside corner direction of the molded product 3.
