PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush, having planted bristles shaped so that the tips of bristles of the toothbrush are abutted vertically to the surfaces of the teeth as much as possible by preventing a bundle of bristles of the toothbrush from being bent and laid down. SOLUTION: In this toothbrush, a bristle planted part of the tip part of a handle made of synthetic resin is provided with a bundle of bristles formed by bundling a plurality of bristles, which is planted in bristle planting holes arrayed in two or more lines along the longitudinal direction of the handle. In the toothbrush, an envelope line coming into contact with the planted bristle bundle tip parts and connecting the same in the longitudinal direction is formed like a convex mountain by a gentle curve.
