The connector box unit comprises a plastics box (2) which can be mounted in the ceiling or wall and has a first connecting flange (6) and at least a second connecting flange (10, 11) to which a ventilation pipe can be connected coming from a ventilation unit. A separate pipe connector (12) likewise made of plastics can be attached to the first flange and provides the link to the room. The pipe fits on the flange through a detent ratchet connection. A separate plastics reducing pipe (13) can be connected to the second flange to adapt to ventilation pipes of different diameter.
