<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to highly precisely manage the remaining amount of toner in a toner cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a toner remaining amount detecting section comprising a toner sensor 78 and a toner remaining amount discriminating section 118, a counter section comprising a number of sheet sensor 9 to count the number of the image formed sheets and a count execution section 116, a number of image formable sheet deriving section 120 to derive the number of image formable sheets by the remaining toner based on the number of the image forming sheets by the counter section before the toner reaches the remaining amount from the initial amount when the toner decreases down to the prescribed remaining amount, and a display controller 132 displaying the number of the image formable sheets derived from the number of image formable sheet deriving section 120 on the liquid crystal display element 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
