<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for gift selection to a gift receiver receiving provision of a gift. <P>SOLUTION: The gift selecting system GS is for providing assistance when the gift receiver is selecting a gift, and it is connected to a computer CCS of the gift receiver via a network NW. A gift server 110 stores per rank gift data including image data of gifts classified by their price ranks for each of a plurality of price ranks. When the gift receiver access to a gift server 100 through operation of the computer CCS, the gift server 100 presents commodities (gifts) included in a price rank coordinated with an ID and PW of each gift receiver in a display of the computer CCS of the gift receiver by using the image data.
