<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transducing a foreign gene into a Labyrinthula microorganism, by which the foreign gene can be transduced into the Labyrinthula microorganism to transform the microorganism. <P>SOLUTION: The vector for transducing the transducing gene into the Labyrinthula microorganism comprises transducing a recombination vector containing the transducing gene and a base sequence which can be homogeneously recombined with the chromosomal DNA of the Labyrinthula microorganism and is homogeneous to a part of the chromosomal DNA, into the Labyrinthula microorganism to cause a homogeneous recombination in the homogeneous base sequence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
