<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pellet material for injection molding which exhibits excellent effects of reinforcing, reducing weight and increasing conductivity and excellent properties for manufacturing and can be molded at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The pellet material for injection molding comprises a carbon fiber reinforced plastic material, which consists of carbon fibers and a thermosetting resin, and a thermoplastic resin as essential components and the above carbon fiber reinforced plastic material has the length L of≥1 mm and≤15 mm. The manufacturing method for the material comprises steps of: crushing carbon fiber reinforced plastic, which consists of carbon fibers and a thermosetting resin, by a crusher equipped with a punching screen having a punching diameter of≥3 mm and≤15 mm; sieving by a siever equipped with a screen mesh having openings of≥1 mm and≤10 mm; and excluding a carbon fiber reinforced plastic material, which is prepared by passing through a screen mesh, and a thermoplastic resin under mixing in an extruder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
