PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grow root or leaf soundly, to keep a deep green color of leaf at the time of harvesting, to enhance the resistance to diseases at the time of cultivating, to prevent the soil from becoming sterile, and to reduce the content of nitrate-nitrogen in the harvest, without giving a compound fertilizer or an organic fertilizer excessively in growing agricultural products. SOLUTION: The soil conditioner is obtained by forming granular bodies of compounded hydroxides by incorporating iron, manganese, copper, zinc, boron and molybdenum all in atomic state into hydroxides of calcium and magnesium so that the ratio of Ca:Mg:Fe:Mn:Cu:Zn:B:Mo becomes 38:5:5:3:0.2:2:1:0.01 pt.wt., and by blending the formed granular bodies as a mineral material for growing plant in 5 pts.wt. into a mixture obtained by mixing 60 pts.wt. kieselguhr, 20 pts.wt. activated clay, 10 pts.wt. zeolite, and 5 pts.wt. calcium bentonite.
