PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing apparatus preventing cold offsetting and hot offsetting in an end part in an axial direction of a fixing roller. SOLUTION: The fixing apparatus includes the fixing roller 2 and a pressurizing roller 3 brought into a pressurized contact with the fixing roller 2 and with a heating method fixing an unfixed toner image by passing the paper through a nip part between the fixing roller 2 and the pressurizing roller 3. The fixing roller 2 is composed of a first heater 11 covering all of a paper passing region and a second heater 12 covering an end part of the paper passing region. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
