PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a user when many display devices such as television receivers are connected and used. SOLUTION: In a scalable television system composed of a plurality of display devices, the image of an object 301 is displayed on display devices 122A to 123C which currently face forward and a different image is displayed on the display devices which face backward, when necessary. Each of the display devices 122A to 123C magnifies the image of the object 301 by four times and calculates the center coordinate of a portion displayed by itself and displays the image centering the calculated center coordinate.
