PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric floor heating system capable of simultaneously satisfying quickness in rising and safety in steady operation. SOLUTION: In this electric floor heating system comprising at least a wire heater 11 laid on a floor base 10, and a controller 20 for controlling power supply to the wire heater, the wire heater having rated power output Wt larger than set power output Ws in the steady operation of the electric floor heating, is used as the wire heater 11. The operation is implemented in a state of supplying the rated maximum voltage Vt corresponding to the rated power output Wt to the wire heater 11 for quick rising, in the rising and supplying the power with steady operation voltage Vs not over the set power output Ws(<Wt) determined in advance in the steady operation, by the controller 20.
