PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push nut to be easily inserted into a bolt while being pushed with two fingers, having an improved material yield. SOLUTION: The push nut 10 comprises a base plate 11 having a bolt insertion hole 12 at the center, and four locking pieces 16, 17, 18, 19 which extend two by two from a pair of opposed sides of the base plate 11, which are U-turned around the base side, and whose front ends range to the peripheral edge of the bolt insertion hole 12. Front ends 16c, 17c, 18c, 19c of the locking pieces encircle the bolt insertion hole 12 at its peripheral edge, incline toward a bolt insertion direction, and elastically abut on the outer periphery of a bolt 21. Thus, required anti-come-off force is secured with the engaging force of the four locking pieces. This requires relatively small force of insertion into the bolt, allows two locking pieces to be pushed with one finger at the same time and pushed therein with two fingers, and improves a material yield with a compact shape in a developed condition.
