PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively manufacture an oil pan structure, and to sufficiently increase an oil filling quantity, while expanding an oil pan in the peripheral direction. SOLUTION: This oil pan structure has an oil pan body 6 and a volume expanding cover 8. The oil pan body 6 has a storage part 61, a body flange part 62 for arranging a bolt installing hole 621a for inserting a bolt 12 to be fastened to a cylinder block, and a cover installing part 63 for arranging an inclined wall part 64 of inclining inside over the lower part side of a front side wall part 61b of the oil pan body 6 from the tip edge of this body flange part 62. The cover installing part 63 communicates the respective inside of the oil pan body 6 and the volume expanding cover 8. A communicating port 64a to the volume expanding cover 8 is arranged in a predetermined part of the inclined wall 64 covered with the volume expanding cover 8 in a state capable of visually confirming the bolt installing hole 621a in a lower view.
