The invention provides a method of controlling or preventing pathogenic
damage or pest damage in plant propagation material, a plant, parts of the

and/or plant organs that grow at a later point in time which comprises
applying on the
plant, parts of the plant or surroundings thereof, a pesticidal combination

thiabendazole and abamectin, in any desired sequence or simultaneously,
optionally
together with one or more customary formulation auxiliaries.
