PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that can find medicines affecting a patient in an earlier stage.

SOLUTION: A host computer 10 executes the steps of: (1) inputting and recording the names of medicines administered to a patient; (2) inputting and recording the results of examinations made on the patient; (3) comparing the recorded examination results with the preceding examination values of the patient; and (4) searching for a medicine considered to be a potential cause of the particular condition of the examination value according to data held by medicine data and the names of medicines administered to the patient, concerning an examination whose comparison result by the examination value comparison means is a particular condition.
