METHOD FOR DETECTING REGULATORY T CELL WITH FOLATE RECEPTOR 4 EXPRESSION AS CRITERION, AND IMMUNOACTIVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for discriminating regulatory T cells (Treg cells) from activated T cells left in a raw state, and to provide an immunoactivator capable of reducing Treg cells in vivo and effectively expressing immune response by activated T cells.

SOLUTION: The technique (method) for detecting Treg cells from a cell group comprising (i) the Treg cells and (ii) at least one kind of cells selected from the group consisting of naive T cells and activated T cells is provided, comprising measuring the expression level of a folate receptor 4 on cell surface and detecting the aimed Treg cells with the expression level as criterion. Further, as an active ingredient of the immunoactivator, an anti-folate receptor 4 antibody or folate receptor 4-bindable fragment is used.
