PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a processing system so as not to degrade the service quality of each application in a system which allocates a request for a business application to a computer in which the business application operates. SOLUTION: A resource allocation management device 1 manages the specifications of server computers 3 and also manages, for each business application, relationships between the specifications of the server computers 3 and the number of request processing items in case that business applications operates with the specifications concerned. The device 1 monitors the number of received requests and the number of request processing items by the server computers 3, to which the applications concerned are allocated, and identifies a business application for which a resource is short. Further, the device 1 determines a server computer 3 to be additionally allocated to the specified business application based on a required amount for the identified business application, the pooled specifications of the server computers 3 and the number of the request processing in case that the business application specified with the specifications concerned operates.
