PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the distribution quantity of broadcast contents broadcasted from a carrier to a reception difficult area of broadcast waves. SOLUTION: A broadcast contents distribution quantity measuring system for measuring distribution quantity by a carrier 800 for distributing the broadcast contents 130 of a broadcast service provider 700 is provided with: a communication network 200 of the carrier 800 in a reception difficult area of broadcast waves of broadcast contents; portable information terminal equipment 300 which has a telephone function and a communication function and can receive the broadcast waves of broadcast contents and can receive also broadcast contents distributed by communication through a communication network; a distribution server 400 for multicast distributing the broadcast contents to the portable information terminal equipment through the communication network when the portable information terminal equipment exists in the reception difficult area; and a viewing history server device 500 for receiving and totalizing broadcast contents viewing history reports distributed from each portable information terminal equipment through the communication network, measuring the distribution quantity of the carrier 800 and reporting the measured result to the broadcast service provider 700 and the carrier 800.
