PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience when accessing a file server from a remote terminal and downloading a file. SOLUTION: A data converter 100 includes a direction receiving part 104 which receives file specification and image data creation direction from a remote terminal 200 connected through an external network 150, a file acquisition part 106 which acquires the specified file from the file server 400 based on the direction received by the direction receiving part 104, an image data creation part 108 which includes a printer driver, converts part of the file acquired by the file acquisition part 106 by the printer drive, and acquires image data, and a communication control part 102 which transmits the image data to the terminals other than the above-mentioned terminal.
