摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical component by which an inexpensive optical component providing high picture quality and having high reliability can be obtained. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an optical component (11) having a first member (2) and a glass second member (1) joined on opposing surfaces (1a) (2a) of both members with a photosetting adhesive (3) includes: a member disposing step of disposing the opposing faces at a specified distance d and filling the space between the opposing faces with the adhesive as well as applying the adhesive near the space; and a curing step of curing the adhesive applied and filling the space with light irradiating in a specified direction (DR). After the adhesive is cured by irradiation with light at 436 nm wavelength, the adhesive shows D45 to 55 Shore hardness at 100 to 500 mJ/cm<SP>2</SP>cumulative light quantity and D78 to 85 hardness with 2,000 to 6,000 mJ/cm<SP>2</SP>cumulative light quantity. In the member disposing step, the distance d and the maximum thickness dmax of the adhesive in a predetermined direction applied are controlled to the range of 35 to 308μm.
