PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handy, compact, and inexpensive laser marking device, facilitating alignment work between a reference line on a floor surface and a laser line projected from the main body, that is required first in partitioning a room, for example. SOLUTION: The laser marking device includes a laser projector 2 for projecting laser light 4 spreading in the vertical direction, is provided with housings 12, 7 having the built-in laser projector 2 and a switch 17 for controlling the driving of the laser projector 2, and is used in a state with the housings 12, 7 being installed on the floor surface and so forth, wherein engagement parts 37, 41 which can be engaged with a protruded part 38 or a recessed part 42, provided to the floor surface or the like and which are positioned on the extension line in the projection direction of the laser light 4, are provided to the lower surface 7 of the housing.
