PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for joining a driven pile and an upper column together, which enables a force to be easily transferred to a driven pile from a steel column by firmly integrating the driven pile with the steel column, and which enables a construction period to be shortened by enabling the height of concrete for being placed to be reduced to the utmost. SOLUTION: This device is used for joining the driven pile and the upper column for constructing a foundation required in the construction of a building such as an over-track station. A plurality of hollow tube-like steel pipe piles 1 are driven at predetermined intervals into ground; a steel plate 5 for connection is welded over a section between upper ends of the steel pipe piles 1; a hollow tube-like steel pipe column 7 is erected on the steel plate; and a lower end of the steel pipe column and the steel plate are welded together by means of a reinforcing member (8).
