PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever file which is equipped with a clip fitting for holding documents etc. in a sandwiching manner, which enables a page to be easily turned over by bringing the documents etc. away from a file cover, and which enables either of the left-hand documents and the right-hand documents to be seen in the state of making a front cover directed to a front side. SOLUTION: In this lever file which comprises the clip fitting for holding the documents etc. in the state of sandwiching them between a base and a retainer metal by using a lever, the clip fitting is attached to the file cover so as to be freely rotatable in such a manner that a longitudinal direction on the side of an erected plate formed at one end of the base serves as the axis of rotation.
