PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting screw driver facilitating the attachment/detachment of a cap for preventing slip at an end and preventing the once mounted cap from being detached. SOLUTION: The connecting screw driver is provided with: a driver part, which has a motor, an output shaft, a housing, and a bit; a slider case mounted to the housing; and a slider 7 provided in the slider case so as to be reciprocated. A first bit hole 18a, into which the bit is inserted. An engaging protrusion 18b extended in the direction of separating from the first bit hole 18a are provided to the counter slider case side end part of the slider 7 (an end member 18). An elastic-body-made cap 19 provided with: a second bit hole 19a, into which the bit is inserted; and an engaging hole part 19b formed to a position apart from the second bit hole 19a, is mounted attachably/detachably to/from the outer surface of the tip member 18 by engaging the engaging hole part 19b with the engaging protrusion 18b of the tip member 18.
