LOOKUP TABLE CONSTRUCTION AND INDEX SEARCH METHOD

A look-up table configuration and index searching method is provided to minimize a use quantity of a memory by configuring a look-up table based on symmetry of a sine function and a cosine function. A look-up table configuration and index searching method includes the steps of: configuring a look-up table based on a symmetry of a sine function and a cosine function; at a DCO(Digital Controlled Oscillator), changing and setting a gain of the DCO based on a size of the look-up table; converting an absolute value of the DCO output into an integer value(200); checking a range of the integer value of the DCO output(300); searching the index of the sine function and cosine function according to the range of the integer value of the DCO output(410,420); and compensating a code to the value of the look-up table corresponding to the index of the searched cosine function and the value of the look-up table corresponding to the index of the searched sine function according to the range of the integer value of the DCO output(510,520).
