<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of switching an image forming function by operating an original without operating a function switching key for image forming. <P>SOLUTION: When time (a) elapses after reading the last original, the original is inserted in a paper supply tray, and then it is extracted within predetermined time (b) after inserting the original. Thereafter, the original is inserted in the paper supply tray again within the fixed time (b). If an original sensor detects that the inserted time of the original exceeds predetermined time (c), it is judged as a situation that the image forming function is changed, and switching of the image forming function is designated without operating the function switching key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
