<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb a difference in media data amount resulting from a clock difference between a plurality of multimedia terminals without complicating the configuration of the multimedia terminal and degrading the quality of an image and a voice of a media. <P>SOLUTION: The gateway apparatus is provided with a characteristic difference calculator 15 for extracting a clock rate of a media data received by media receivers 13a and 14a, calculating the clock rate difference between both, and generating a control signal for eliminating the clock rate difference, decodes the media data received by the media receiving parts 13a and 14a, codes the media data according to the control signal generated by the characteristic difference calculation part 15, and outputs the coded signal to multimedia terminals 2 and 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
