<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph a moving object, such as a vehicle, with a simple construction using a general-purpose camera. <P>SOLUTION: A velocity detector 30 detects hypervelocity of a vehicle and, in a photography control unit 20, a shutter timing is operated on the basis of a preset resolution and photography distance. Also, a driving lane of the vehicle is specified according to a photographed image of a wide area camera.
