<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method for a printer which facilitates the cleaning of an ink device and the maintenance of the machine. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 1 is equipped with a plate cylinder 30 and a screen roller 9. During printing operation, the plate cylinder 30 rotates in a first direction of rotation and the screen roller 9 rotates simultaneously. During interruption of printing, the plate cylinder 30 rotates in a second direction of rotation and the screen roller 9 is kept in the interruption state of rotation simultaneously. For that purpose, a printer wherein a joint or an over-running clutch in particular is incorporated into an anilox type ink device 2 is suitable so that, during operation in the direction opposite to the printer 1, the joint 15 causes the interruption of rotation of the screen roller 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
