<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus corresponding to a network capable of rapidly and accurately setting processing or printing in direct-printing by utilizing a two-dimensional barcode. <P>SOLUTION: Before a request of direct-printing is output from a DSP, a processing is set in advance. In an MFP or a printer, when a print request is received (step S61), image data is received (step S62). When a two-dimensional barcode is included in the received image data (step S63/Yes), the two-dimensional barcode is analyzed to carry out the requested processing (step S64), and then printing is carried out (step S65). When the image data does not include the two-dimensional barcode (step S63/No), the print data is immediately printed (step S65). The two-dimensional barcode can be analyzed as a QR code, and then the requested setting of processing can be carried out.
