摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential gear device using a mechanism for automatically distributing torque and a rotating speed corresponding to the status. <P>SOLUTION: At least two sets of gear mechanisms 20a, 20b include at least two sets of planetary gear members 24 to which planetary gears 23, 25 are coaxially fixed, axially movable planetary carriers 28 each rotatably supporting the planetary gear member 24 and having an approximately tapered portion in sectionally protruded or recessed shape on the outer peripheral face, and sun gears 22, 26 meshing with the planetary gears 23, 25. The pair of gears 22, 23; 25, 26 are different in teeth number ratio, and only one of the pair of gears is a helical gear or both of them are helical gears different in torsional angle. An abutment part 32 is rotated together with the sun gear 22 and has a reversely tapered portion in sectionally recessed or protruded shape. When the planetary carrier 24 is moved to axial both axial sides, the approximately tapered portion of the planetary carrier 28 abuts on the reversely tapered portion of the abutment part 32 and a gap is formed at a middle position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
