PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily manufacturable long-life switch having stable operation characteristics and allowing operation by small operation force. SOLUTION: This switch is constructed of a base 10, a movable contact piece 30 bringing one end part 32, which is supported rotationally by the base 10, into pressure contact with a common fixed contact 21a, an operation lever 40, in which one end part is supported rotatably by the base 10 while a drive part 43 extended from the one end part presses a coil part 31 in the movable contact piece 30, and a cover 50 fixed to the base 10 for compressing the coil part 31. When the coil part 31 in the movable contact piece 30 is pressed by the operation lever 40, the movable contact piece 30 is turned around its one end part 32 serving as a fulcrum, and the coil part 31 slides on the bottom face of the base 10, while the other end part 33 of the movable contact piece 30 slides on a fixed contact 20a exposed from the inside face of the base 10.
