摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting the failure of an NC rolling machine or an NC broaching machine for realizing the optimal failure prediction by simplifying the input of the prediction level threshold of failure, and always monitoring the actual real torque of a servo motor obtained by removing any noise due to the rapid increase of the torque of the servo motor at acceleration/deceleration. SOLUTION: A numerical controller 14 for always reading a real load torque (W1) obtained by removing a load torque in the acceleration/deceleration of servo motors 61 and 11 at working time monitors the real load torque (W1) obtained by removing a load torque in the acceleration/deceleration of the servo motors 61 and 11, and the real load torque (W1) is compared with a set load torque value (W0) being a real load torque value prior to the sharp deterioration of working conditions to be set from an experience value measured by the trial of working conditions preliminarily set in a memory in a storage device 9 of a numerical control part 70 so that the presence/absence of the deterioration of a drive device part and its level can be evaluated.
