PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film which freely controls a direction of outgoing light and with which moire fringes are reduced. SOLUTION: The optical film 10 is applied to a backlight for a liquid crystal display device and guides a light from a light source to a liquid crystal panel, and is constructed by arranging a plurality of lenses 16 on a surface 14 of a transparent base material 12 on the liquid crystal panel side with random pitches P, and arranging a plurality of light reflection materials 20 on a surface 22 of the transparent base material 12 on the light source side so as to deviate from positions G which are opposed to apexes T of each of the plurality of lenses 16, while interposing the transparent base material 12.
